Paid Search Strategist for a Digital Marketing Agency

Hello, Paid Search Strategists!

I’m Danny Gavin, Founder and Chief Strategist of Optidge, one of the  fastest  growing digital marketing and advertising agencies in the United States.  We  specialize in helping established businesses scale their revenues by increasing website traffic and converting customers online through the use of strategically crafted and customized PPC, SEO and social media campaigns for maximum results.

We are looking to hire a driven and self-starting Paid Search Strategist to join our growing team of highly qualified Paid Search Experts. Our ideal candidate is a proactive,  eagle -eyed strategist  who can spot and create opportunities to drive up traffic, generate leads and build revenue for our clients on Google and Bing.

This is a full time remote position open to only  US residents.

We are looking for a Paid Search Strategist specifically with these requirements:

  • Excellent English communication skills
  • At least 2+ years of experience in Paid Search campaign execution and optimization
  • At least 2+ years of experience building, analyzing, and optimizing Google search campaigns
  • Has 2+ years working in a multi-client agency (preferred)
  • At least 1+ year of experience working with Microsoft Bing Ads is preferred
  • Deep knowledge of and experience with search-based campaigns
  • Familiar with Display, Performance Max and other campaign types
  • Google Ads Certified
  • Strong interpersonal skills with experience collaborating with clients and remote team members

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Managing between 10-15  Paid Search Accounts for various clients with focus on increasing lead volume and ROI
  • Perform day to day baseline optimization tasks such as query reports, bid adjustments, copy audits and budget checks
  • Provide, implement and adjust as needed higher level strategy such as bid strategy and campaign structure adjustments.
  • Perform deep data dives and identify all possible opportunities for additional optimization and increase ROI
  • Strategically design and build new Google Ad campaigns using up-to-date best practices on keyword research, ad copy, campaign structure, and bid strategy evolution.
  • Develop strategic, action-focused landing pages.
  • Have an understanding of best practices regarding conversion tracking within Google Ads.
  • Lead client meetings with support from Client Account Managers.
  • Clearly and confidently communicate details of campaign strategy, direction and decisions to clients. Be willing to adjust and provide creative solutions when necessary.
  • Work closely with the other Paid Search Strategists, Coordinators, and contractors for both new & existing clients.
  • Act as a team player and provide support as needed with other accounts in the
  • department.
  • Attend internal departmental and company-wide meetings on a regular basis.
  • Receive support and guidance as needed regarding account strategy from the Head of Paid Search. Report on campaign statuses and discuss campaign pivots with the Head of Paid Search.
