Hello, Sales Specialists!

My name is Lauren and I am the CEO at Scribly – a content marketing agency offering scalable content marketing services for every business type.  Content marketing is a busy, competitive space, where agencies are either cheap (delivering poor quality) or prohibitively expensive for most businesses — we aim to hit a sweet spot at Scribly. We partner with our clients to create meaningful, engaging written content that adds value for their business, at a price that they are comfortable with. Our offer includes content strategy, content writing (blogs, web copy, email campaigns, and more), editing/proofreading and translation.

We are looking to hire a motivated Sales Specialist who has experience with automated sales sequences and face-to-face sales (via video call). This person should be able to sell through building rapport and showing empathy — not through a hard sales approach. We are searching for a top-performing Sales Specialist to help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets by keeping our company competitive and innovative. 

This is a full-time remote position. 

We are looking for a Sales Specialist specifically with these requirements:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Has at least 2+ years of experience in a leadership/managerial role
  • Has at least 2+ years of experience with B2B sales specifically for services or Saas
  • Has at least 2+ years working in a sales or content marketing agency
  • Familiar with Pipedrive and Active Campaign
  • Has experience with managing sales funnels, leads, and client prospects
  • Has experience with growing revenues and  hitting sales targets
  • Has experience with email automation and flows

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Growing and Leading and managing the sales team to achieve growth and hit sales targets 
  • Building and managing strong customer relationships by partnering with them and understanding their needs
  • Setting up and managing sales funnels and email automation/flows
  • Setting  goals and quotas for sales activity and producing monthly forecasting reports
  • Designing and implementing a strategic sales plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures its strong presence
  • Once there becomes a need to grow the sales team, the Sales Specialist will own recruiting, objectives setting, coaching, and performance monitoring of sales team
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management team
  • Identify emerging markets and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competition status
  • Direct communication to the CEO
