Hello, Chief Financial Officers!

My name is Sam and I am the CEO at Ecom CFO – We are a top-rated outsourced CFO and Financial Services firm that helps free founders from the pains that we so often see in e-commerce. Our passion lies in helping business owners find actionable solutions to these problems.

We are looking to hire a motivated Chief Financial Officer who is a confident team player and can quickly adapt to change. This candidate is a naturally organized person who can manage 8-10 clients easily and at the same time lead and manage a fractional finance and accounting team, making sure that everything is attended to and running smoothly.  You will need to be a highly experienced remote accounting/ finance manager, with excellent customer management skills and great leadership to guide your team to deliver best-in-class strategic advisory and financial operations through the application of clearly crafted policies and procedures.

This is a full – time remote position.

We are looking for a Chief Financial Officer specifically with these requirements:

• Have 6+ years of experience in the financial services industry
• Has at least 3+ years of client service management experience of 5-10 clients with a variety of personalities and goals (not internal consulting)
• Has experience managing a small team
• Has experience leading and managing projects with deliverables, accountability, and a timeline
• Has experience with client communication, management and presentation
• Knowledgeable on GAAP and managerial accounting
• Demonstrated excel excellence and ability to simplify a client’s existing complicated mess
• Quickbooks Online and related SaaS integrations
• Has remote experience
• Comfortable working overtime including weekends

Nice to Haves:

• Experience working with the Ecommerce industry/clients
• Bachelor’s degree and/or MBA in finance, accounting, strategy, or operations

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

• Leading a fractional accounting and finance team for assigned clients – generally serving as clients’ fractional CFO
• Owning responsibility for accurate and timely monthly financial close and accounting operations
• Delivering monthly financial performance reviews for assigned clients – providing them confidence and clarity in their decision-making
• Liaising with clients to resolve finance and accounting questions and requests – determine appropriate action, scope, prioritization, and delegation
• Contributing to improving our firm’s internal and external processes
• Building and managing execution of SOPs to ensure accuracy, GAAP compliance, and consistency across our client base.
• Managing and mentoring junior team – supporting their ability to provide best-in-class,remote client service
• Supporting client onboarding and the implementation and integration of accounting and other CRM, MRP, ERP, and e-commerce marketplace SaaS systems.
• You are very comfortable with change and adapt quickly when priorities change. Sometimes that perfectly planned day has to take a rain check.
