We are looking to hire a motivated Web Content Coordinator who will be responsible for managing, organizing and publishing digital content related to the business strategy for the website CancerPatientVoices.org. This position requires excellent attention to detail, a command of the English language, and strong proofreading and editing skills. The Web Content Coordinator is responsible for assisting in the development of new content, both visual and written,  as well as customizing existing content, to ensure alignment with overall business strategies. The content coordinator operates in a landscape that is always evolving and is responsible for understanding general medical and genitourinary oncology terminology, patient advocacy and management of content in the backend. The position works closely with and reports directly to the Director of Marketing.

This is a full-time, remote position.

We are looking for a Web Content Coordinator specifically with these requirements:

  • Excellent English communications skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or science-related field
  • 2+ years as content coordinator or similar role
  • 2+ years experience in digital content management
  • Healthcare content management and content creation experience preferred, not required
  • Experience with content management systems (e.g. JOOMLA)
  • Experience with basic HTML
  • Has experience with Photoshop or other photo editing software
  • Experience in backend website management
  • Familiarity with online marketing and content marketing strategies and marketing channels
  • 10% required travel 
  • Has the availability to work outside business hours, as required.

Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

  • Responsible for managing, organizing and publishing digital content 
  • Creating, editing, and reviewing  web pages in CMS environment
  • Collaborate with the team to identify process issues, discuss statuses, or review content
  • Categorize and optimize online content for maximum visibility
  • Working directly with an external team of content designers to assist on multiple projects from ideation to execution
  • Supporting a robust content strategy incorporating analytics and industry trends
  • Maintaining the integrity of product brand and voice by ensuring accuracy, consistency, clarity, appropriateness, and persuasiveness of messaging that reflects and adheres to product voice standards and
  • compliance guidelines
  • Performing functional and editorial quality assurance on content as appropriate
